Allahu Akbar at Noah (AS)'s story.

(Pt1) - He spent 950 years in preaching to people. Not a single person said لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰه except Noah (AS).

(Pt 2) 950 years is a long time for preaching with patience. Then he had come to realise that the disbelievers would do nothing but spread corruption and disbelief throughout the land and deliver a legacy of disbelief to their children.

(Pt3) Then Noah made a dua. Listening to his dua brought me chills, Allahu akbar. He said:

“My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth. If you leave them, they will mislead Your slaves and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers.” (Quran 71:27)

(Pt4) So Allah accepted his prayer and instructed Noah(AS) to build the ark and passed judgement on the disbelievers in the form of a flood. It took him 100 years to build the Ark on the top of a mountain with the help(instructions) from Jibreel (AS).

(Pt5) The ship began to take shape and when it was finished, Noah patiently waited for the command from Allah.
When the water started to gush from the earth and fall from the sky, Allah instructed Noah (AS) to enter the ark with his family and the believers.

(Pt6) Allah also commanded Noah to take a pair (male and female) of every animal, bird and insect with him.

The scholars of Islam hold different opinions about the number of people on the ark, but the highest estimate is 80.

(Pt7) As the believers and animals entered the ark, the water gushed from every crack in the earth, and the rain fell from the sky in quantities never seen before like water flowing from a bucket hour after hour the water levels rose, and the seas and rivers invaded the land.

(Pt8) These waves as big as mountains submerged everything. They lifted up the ark, making it appear as fragile as a matchbox tossed in the ocean. This construction made of wood became a ship of safety and security, for its passengers had true belief and trust in Allah.

(Pt9) For 6 months, Noah(AS) and the believer remained safe in the Ark until the earth dried up by Allah's will. The rain stopped and the water ceased to gush from all the cracks in the earth.

(Pt10) The flood had cleansed the earth of idolatry and disbelievers. Not a single person who had disbelieved in God remained on the earth. The earth swallowed up the water and the ark rested upon Mountain Judi (what is believed to be in present day Turkey).

(Pt11) Allah (swt) made all the followers of the Noah not to have descendants. All the descendants stopped except Noah (AS) and his family. That's why they called Noah(AS) the second Adam.

(Pt12) To the end of this thread. He was a righteous servant of Allah who lived 350 years after the flood. He used to fast every single day except the Eid days, SubhanaAllah. May Allah bless him enormously.
