I know I've made the joke before about the doctor telehealth service doxy-dot-me as being better suited for doxxing as a service -- but is there actually anything like that? A service that could help you audit your own information trail, for example?
The services I can think of offhand are proactive. The few that help you clean up after the fact are mostly things like password breaches or credit reporting. If there's no one doing this right now, this could be a real space to move into and possibly make a dime doing good.
I think about this a lot because I catch myself walking a fine line with my posting here, and I've definitely seen some people I follow throw out personal info that ends up getting deleted shortly after the post goes live.
I suspect most big accounts of the very online have alts for this reason. Perhaps the best use case, outside of shitposting or engaging controversial topics. One example brave enough to admit it: https://twitter.com/MinaMarkham/status/1309647525381455873?s=20
This line of thought also ties into this thread, about the risk/reward of putting yourself fully out there online. It's one of the reasons my account here -- which was created as my personal account back in the day -- saw a pivot. https://twitter.com/cat_upgrades/status/1308034104055693313
Nothing online is real, except what is; sometimes what isn't real becomes real, or simply exists as unreal. Kind of like known knowns and known unknowns versus unknown unknowns.

Yeah, sorry, didn't mean to bring that up.
