i feel like talking abt people who make things i like again but this time in more of a personal way, probably especially w music? idk im just gonna talk

uhhh going like. chronologically? literally every pokemon game ive ever played made me FUCKING LOVE music. i'd play my ds on the road as i was being driven somewhere or another and if i didnt feel like playing i'd just go to jubilife city or some shit and vibe

pokemon mystery dungeon explorers especially.... good lord. that game itself kinda dictated my entire philosophy as a kid and i love it for that LMAO.

it really helped me cope with some like. idk, anxiety stuff i'd get a ton as a kid, i'd think about dying and freak tf out

on that note... something that also helped me cope was old hannah montana music. i think i had the party in the USA album. and it'd help me calm down, but it's also resulted in some specific sounds from those songs kinda giving me a sense of dread....

it was also scratched...

...so i kinda have a weird. nostalgia thing for scratched CD looping. i liked the sound but after uhhh 5 minutes of it i'd have to skip the song LMAO

aivi n surasshu get a mention OF COURSE. loved their shit on SU and i love pretty much anything they make. i think their stuff is what really pushed me to wanna compose music someday...... i'll get there >:)

ive been stuck on it for... uh.. years... but i'm learning to. not be stuck? idk i dont wanna turn this thread into 'yknow maybe i should be telling a therapist this' but this stuff is kinda inherently... uh.. intertwined w my mental health stuff so it gets a quick mention lol
