At this point, I would think the best political strategy would be to ignore the specifics of this or any nominee and slow or halt the process on principle by whatever means possible. There’s zero chance of swaying any GOP Senator’s votes anyway, so just shut the whole thing down.

And whatever happens, just don’t take the dangled bait of going after her (or any nominee’s) identity. No upside at all in dragging that out *at this point*. A different moment might yield a different calculus, but that’s not the moment we’re in.

Play that angle in fundraising and GOTV, absolutely. Just don’t fall for it in any hearings or public statements.
