i rlly do b thinkin about this a lot so i thought i’d tweet it & hopefully it can act as some sort of reminder إن شاء الله

never belittle or insult a muslim who is sinning - yes by all means hate the SIN but don’t start sayin all sorts of stuff about the person

ngl i’ll be honest sometimes u cant help but see sum1 committing a filthy sin & in ur head u automatically think ‘could never b me’ - but instead what u should b doin is askin الله to protect u from that sin
i know of a practising individual who used to say all sorts of stuff about an individual who ‘fell off’ the deen

they would say things lyk “omg look how they were practising & now they listen to music, speak to the opposite gender, comfy w their jaahil friends, could never b me”
wallāhi billāhi under a year later this same practising individual completely fell off aswell, even worse than the individual they were belittling

this acc shook me to the core bcos when i tell u this individual seemed soooo practising u would have never thought they’d fall off
& wallāhi it rlly goes to show guidance is truly in the hands of الله

dont ever look at someone committing a sin & think u can never b in their place

ofcourse hate the sin, advise them, warn against it etc but never insult them, mock them & belittle them
the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used
to read this du’ā most often:

يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك

o turner of the hearts keep my heart
firm upon your religion

this was the prophet

the best of mankind

who are we???
wallāhi dont ever think highly of yourself, pls humble yourself

constantly repent to الله & ask for guidance bcos we all need it man
