25th September 1920. For the first time in the history of modern Europe, a European country has enacted the first anti-Jewish legislation, “Numerus Clausus”. Ostensibly the law was supposed to set quotas on university places based on the percentage of minorities.

Defenders of this piece of legislation are quick to point out that the word "Jewish" is nowhere to be found in the text of the law. But the subsequent implementation instructions don't leave any confusion for the purpose of this law.

I don't know what made me think of that.
