This group made their own representations re GRA reform. This statement has now been made public, though we have no idea what evidence base was used or who had input outside of the APPG. (Though I have a document from 2016 and I will also tweet in that).
Argentina often gets quoted as a place where self declaration of “gender” has been introduced with *no issues*. As does Ireland and Malta. SelfID happened in all three places with no rights to abortion. Ireland agreed abortion rights only *after* Self declared Gender Identity.

So the GRA process is now seen as onerous and invasive. Reminder. The fee is £140. There is no requirement. for any bodily modification. Which means a woman can now have a penis and *claim* entry to female spaces. Sounds unbelievable doesn’t it?
Here is a case from 2009. Gender Recognition Certificate obtained whilst in prison & pre-op. Released to a female bail hostel. Returned to prison after 5 days due to an attempted rape of a female. Here’s another one. Thrice married father of 7 with a conviction for obtaining explosives with intent to endanger life. Turned down three times for a GRC. A SINGLE judge overturned this decision. Here a Judge who works on the Gender Recognition Panel describes how “enabling” the process is. All this take of “invasive and humiliating “ processes. Talk of “toxic debate” but where is the toxicity coming from? Many of us are in dialogue with trans people and resent constant characterisation of this as “bad on both sides” . This is, at best, disingenuous or actually mendacious.

Nobody is “assigned a gender at birth”. Sex is observed &recorded in 99+% of cases. The tiny number of people with differences in sexual Developmental don’t change the fact we are sexually dimorphic. DSDs doesn’t =Trans.

Nice sleight of hand here. Estimates of “women” who choose to retain male genitalia is a high as 80%. Here they have to find a way to explain this. Medical reasons? Really? We are “grasping” this . That’s why we aren’t “calm”
Hyperbole! Women have no record of violent offences against trans people. The reverse cannot be said. The only groups subject to violent threats (on here) and intimidation in real life are Women!

Here it is clear that the intention is to agree a temporary process with a view to moving to full self-declaration.
Er. Misrepresentation of the law from “both sides”. Women only spaces protect all women “including trans women”. So not women only then? A carefully structured sentence.
This is now simply lying. Numerous guidance packs on “transgender” inclusion push gender neutral toilets. This is not a few rogue contractors. It was deliberate and in contravention of the law for sex segregated spaces in schools.
The next front line is the campaign to outlaw any therapy that seeks to reconcile our kids to biological sex and , often, to their homosexuality. Outlawing this and pushing “transition” is #GayConversionTherapy.
How many detransitioners were lesbian? How many gay males? It’s dangerous to equate non adherence to sex stereotypes with “trans” because that’s a common feature of Gay males and Lesbians.
Since 2011 we have been giving #PubertyBlockers to children as young as 10. They invariably go onto cross sex hormones. This will re dear them sterile. This is not just a handful of cases.
