I’m starting to wonder if the monarchy can survive without Prince Harry. Maybe the tabloids can do a poll & if the results say « yes the monarchy will be fine » then all the articles begging him to abandon his wife and child might finally cease......a thread.
Ive read a few of these bogus begging letters disguised as warnings, but the latest one by [irrelevant] played a new angle.

It proffered the notion that Harry would be HAPPIER staying in the RF as “doing their duty” has brought so much happiness to other spares before him...🧐
Let’s take a look at a few of the “happy” spares & see what limitless joy, the rudderless life of sibling to a monarch brings.
The 1st example is Princess Margaret, a woman who’s life was mired with affairs, alcoholism & even overdose.
Things not typically associated with joy..🤔
Margaret was the pretty charming sister of the plainer less glittery monarch.
Her sister held the power to block her marriage, & Margaret chose “duty” over love.
The human frailties she displayed as a result of this, lead to her being labeled a “parasite” who damaged the monarchy
What about everyone’s favourite spare “Randy Andy” or “Air Miles Andy” depending on the decade. I’m old enough to remember when he was lauded as the military hero & fun loving man’s man. A breath of fresh air compared 2 the jug-eared treehugger that was Charles...
..but with time he got the standard spare makeover. Profligate, leech, pointless, aimless & everyone cheered at the idea of a slimmed down monarchy. His “happiness” in the RF boiled down to fighting 4 his daughters rights & sneaking off 2 underage orgies every chance he could get
Princess Anne is a spare that seems to have got it right, maybe because her children weren’t “royal” & she has her horse rearing business, so she always had a foot in the real world. Consistently hailed as the hardest working royal but never makes it high on any popularity polls.
She’s had her share of scandals, notably her extramarital affair with her current husband being exposed in the papers. Revelations that she might have preferred her children be spared, but as a “spare”, she clearly didn’t have the royal lawyers to protect her “human rights”😉
For the briefest moment it looked like the queen had finally understood that being miles away the throne yet being thwarted of personal ambitions, was probably not the secret to happiness,so Edward was allowed to pursue a career & so was his wife Sophie...the media didn’t like it
Sophie was set up in a tabloid sting where she was caught on tape being a little too frank about some royals & politicians.
She was forced to quit her job as a result & assume her tabloid appointed position of Diana lookalike.
Edward held out a little longer for his dream...
...of being a creative, but EVERYTHING his production company produced was ripped to shreds & labeled an embarrassment to the royal family, so he got back in his royal box & dutifully waited for the axe of the slimmed down monarchy to fall. He saw the first signs at the jubilee..
So back to Prince Harry. Dozens of writers that have never met him are convinced of his unhappiness in America. They’re certain that the freedom to direct his own destiny must be dreadful for him(even though most people kinda love that). They’ve told him to come “home” to...
“Marry a conservative blonde”, to be a “support”[read:scapegoat] to his brother, at least until George is old enough to fill the tabloid pages & push Harry into “royal leech” territory
They insist he “cut his losses”(Meg & Archie)

...based on the data, I say he take his chances
