One of my homegirls is chronically late. Sometimes we tell her the reservation is 30min earlier than it really is or we send her the menu and order for her.

She’s not a disrespectful person in any way. Her time management is bad and her friends in her other circles beat her up about it. We made a collective decision in our circle to work around it b/c we love her.

I’m not a stickler at all about laid back meetups like brunch or something at my place. Personally a very punctual person and I don’t usually tolerate people playing with my time in other areas BUT please know I’m going to get started without you.

My crew is not going to blow up your phone, pout, or jump out the damn window because you’re late. We will start drinking and eating and telling stories without you tho. So let the fomo be your motivation

IDK... Things that used to really grind my gears barely matter anymore. I gave up trying to control others and seeing everything they do differently from me as a personal offense. Now I just decide if this person/place/thing is something I want to deal with or not.
