The professional consequences for publicly criticizing or reporting a judge or prosecutor for unethical conduct would almost inevitably be far more serious for the lawyer bringing it to light than to the judge or prosecutor.

And “liberals” laundering right-wing Supreme Court justices aren’t much different from people running interference for the prosecutors in robes that routinely get appointed or elected in criminal courts across the country.
