Stop telling me whether or not shit is “in the Bible” when the conversation is about “is this true. Because some shit IS in the Bible AND untrue

The Bible is full of errors and outdated thinking and I don’t care if you’re Christian but if you’re using it as your main source for truth you are going to end up very confused or you will confuse others. Because the Bible just isn’t consistent, truthful, or cohesive

I’m not going to make the point again and continue this thread but if you’re reading this far please know that this is how a lot of threads read and it’s unnecessary at best. Seriously, it could have been one tweet.
