Thread: Twitter is boring?

Recently I have seen many of my mutuals complain that twitter has gotten boring.
I have 2 things to say in this regard. Let's start with the 'boring' part.

Why has twitter gotten boring? Because twitter is a place for secondary content where people discuss primary content generated elsewhere.
In political twitter the primary content comes from News. Sometimes from history books etc., but mostly news.

Twitter is most boring when there are no major news stories to discuss currently.

You are feeling bored because there are no major news stories.

Try to think of it this way. Twitter is a place to have conversations with your friends.
Some conversations are engaging, some conversations are boring. It is most boring when there is no topic to discuss.

So, what to do?
We have to change our choice of primary content.

To what?
Blogs.

That brings us to the 2nd thing that I want to say.

'Why are you on twitter?'

For fun? There are better websites for that.

The primary goal of political twitter is to pull the overturn window towards you.

I'm not saying that don't have fun while doing this just that this should be the goal.

I say blogs will help us kill two birds with one stone.

1. If we switch up our source of primary content then our boredom will not dependent on external things like news stories.
2. The overturn window has not moved sufficiently towards the right. For that to happen...

quickly we need longform posting. Threads can only do so much.

Let me give you an example. Look at the topics that are constantly debated in trad twitter caste, modesty, caste endogamy, meat eating, animal sacrifice, polygamy/monogamy, LGBs, monarchy/democracy etc.

Each of those topics require long form writing (ideally books) to properly red pill.
Most people don't read books (non-fiction) and expecting them to change is stupid.
But they do read articles and blog posts because they are not too long.

"But Ainz what ever needs to be said was already said by trads 5 years ago"

Well, we zoomers are new here. I myself have only joined RW twitter in 2019.

Expecting people to dig up your old tweets is stupid.
The only people who dig up your old tweets are people who want to report you or tarnish your image.
People don't dig up old tweets for the sake of knowledge. They just don't.

So, either repeat your entire arguments (regarding whatever topic at hand) every single time or simply write blogs/articles and give links.
This way both goals can be fulfilled. Overturn window would shift at a faster rate and our boredom will be in our hands.
