Obviously it comes down to the subtle difference in spices. Gingerbread requires a LOT more of every spice, especially ginger, nutmeg and clove. Not shown but vital: cocoa powder.
Pumpkin + our gingerbread mixture + salt go over medium heat to blend and reduce, about 7 minutes.
