I was apprehensive about meeting new people in LA, guarded over concerns of materialism, status, and hubris. that concern turned out to be unfounded.
the truth is that we’ve forged the beginnings of meaningful friendships that are reminiscent of those we’ve maintained our entire adult life. thoughtfulness, selflessness, and a practice of self improvement consistent in those we meet.

as I approach the round age of 30 I am no longer the youngest person in the room, something that has been fairly consistent throughout my career.
as the next generation takes their seat at the helm of culture i’ve taken a seat beside them, listening, learning, and sharing. the table need not be separated by generation anymore.
