Many artists have suffered from this, many artists are still suffering from this. Look at Kanye West& #39;s tweets, think about them. Look at Taylor Swift, look at Fifth Harmony. Look at many more artists. this isn& #39;t a new problem. i& #39;ve voiced this out multiple times. -
the music industry is shit. this isn& #39;t new, unfortunately. i became a 5SOS stan only a year ago, and was immediately invested with everything. I started realizing pretty quickly, that it was unfair. they made such good music, and it honestly really spoke to me.
Now I know that it wasn& #39;t just 5SOS, Taylor is literally BANNED from playing any of her old stuff, Kanye is being called crazy as he tweets out. I don& #39;t like Kanye, but he& #39;s speaking the truth right now. I loved Taylor& #39;s old stuff. Then we have Michael Jackson.
When he started saying what Kanye is saying right now, he died, from a supposed heart attack. Avicii has many many problems with the music industry, and he k****** himself. But if you look deeper, look at the signs in his videos, he knew something.
It& #39;s never just about the music industry, there was some details and rumors that he knew about Trump. This thread would never end if I bought up what it wrong with American Politics, so i& #39;m skipping over that for now.
We have the case of Fifth Harmony too. Many recordings were leaked, you can hear them all crying to each other, saying they don& #39;t wanna do this anymore. but they still helped each other. A "good" music industry shouldn& #39;t do that.
The only successful artists are the ones who haven& #39;t 100% sold themselves to the music industry. And this isn& #39;t just in america. Talk about One Direction, with Simon Cowell. With Sony, with everything in between. Idc if you ship Larry or not, but they still told Louis-
he acted "too gay" and they stopped letting Harry and Louis he close to one another. They gave Liam anxiety, and horrible things happened. Zayn had a******* and he was kicked out of the band. Niall was constantly put down, saying he wasn& #39;t good enough, and got refused surgery.
Louis Tomlinson sacrificed so much. He sacrificed his freedom. He sacrificed his personality. He sacrificed everything. And the worst part is no one knew what happened. They always looked so happy, and no one would suspect anything to be wrong.
This isn& #39;t just America. This isn& #39;t just Britain. It& #39;s so much bigger than all of it. All for selfish people who don& #39;t care about their freedom, who don& #39;t care about health and sanity. We should talk about this fact more, ignoring it won& #39;t do anyone any good.
Cancel the music industry, because the only things that matter, are the fans. we are their support, we are there for them. they don& #39;t deserve this. I know that i am mainly talking about 5SOS and 1D, but they& #39;re the only artists i consistently listen to. But this is for all.
save future artists, save current artists.
