I saw something On Here earlier about how the second wave death toll curve is rising less steeply than the first wave's did, and therefore it's not so bad this time and did you know how many die of flu normally (etc, etc).
So this thread is for anyone trying to take comfort from the idea that the virus has somehow got weaker, that it's infecting stronger people this time round, etc.
Take the seven-day average of hospital admissions. Take the seven-day average of deaths, lagged by 10 days (that seems to be the lag in the inflection points of the respective curves).
