Ugh the sims 4 *gets on soap box* pictures like these are what black people talk about when we say we don’t believe companies really mean anything when they say they support black people. These two designs are riddled w/ micro agressions towards black people & the fact they-(1/5)

Were allowed are showing why many black people are still upset with gaming companies. They don’t have black people working on games so biases, stereotypes, and just straight racism sometimes come up in concept designs. They based black peoples hair of cauliflower.- (2/5)

They called the full body concept design fat Oprah. It took 6 years and joining it at year 6 saying “all skin tones are a problem” for skin tones to be fixed by for a life simulation game. It’s these things that make black people not believe these companies.- (3/5)

These concepts are blindly evident of why so many black simmers uphold themselves in this community and why as black summers we continuously support each other. It’s agressions like these that reminds us that on some level the sims 4 was not completely made for us. (4/5)
