coming for day6 wins/album sales/views is totally unrelated to the situation. let me remind y’all they’re the ONLY group in jype in 2020 to have their entire album debut in korean music charts, trended #3 on youtube WW, #1 on itunes WW, 3 albums in kpop itunes with NO PROMOTIONS.

there are so many iconic & great kpop songs who don’t have wins or don’t have the high expectations from some kpop stans with so many views, but the entire kpop industry KNOWS that song. music show wins are only one of the aspects for these things.

day6 music has longevity. their music is timeless. and don’t y’all get tired of the same argument of going after a group/band for their views, wins & album sales. stick to the actual topic instead of throwing something completely unrelated to the situation lol.

also, it’s funny whenever someone drags d6 it’s either someone’s saying jype is doing chart manipulation for them, talking about their wins/album sales/youtube views... as if that’s even a drag bc if it is, well the bar is low.

if someone’s going to say they don’t like a d6 song then that’s on you bc everyone has their own preference for music, so saying “you’re a day6 stan” is a weak drag

main topic for this thread is to say music show wins, views or album sales are not everything, yes it’s one of the many factors for a kpop act, but the music itself is the biggest aspect. if you still didn’t get anything i was trying to convey in this thread well...

ah yes before i get they’re also loved by many kpop idols & artists outside of korea. so if you don’t like day6 well RAISE YOUR STANDARDS.
