Inko silently cries tears of joy as she fixes her son’s bowtie before he walks down the aisle to marry his childhood friend.

Once his bowtie is straightened, Izuku grabs her hands reassuringly into his own, “I love him so much, mom.”
There’s a far away look in her eyes, but she forms a smile through her tears anyway, “I know.”

Inko moves her hand to caress his cheek, “It’s almost time, Izuku. He’s waiting for you.”
Izuku shudders as he lets out a deep breath. He couldn’t believe it... he still couldn’t believe it the day the blond got down on one knee to propose.

He’s going to marry Kacchan. His Kacchan. This is a new chapter in their lives.
He and Kacchan are going to build a new life together, it almost feels surreal.

Lost in his thoughts, he doesn’t remember his mom leaving. She must’ve sat down with the rest of the guests already.

This is it. The man he fell in love with for all these years is waiting for him.
As he walks through the corridors, he can hear the faint conversations of family and friends, but the familiar voices start to diminish and disappear completely.

The cathedral is empty, there’s no one in sight. Only Kacchan.
Confused, Izuku makes his way towards him. The asile seems to stretch for miles.

Kacchan was shrinking further and further away from him no matter how fast he ran. He called out his name repeatedly in desperation, but the blond just stood there with a longing look on his face.
Izuku continues to run, but he can’t reach him. He’s scared. He can barely breathe anymore.

A bittersweet smile starts to grace Katsuki’s sharp features when he finally speaks up, “This is goodbye for now. I’m sorry I can’t be there, but I’ll always wait for you.”
Izuku immediately wakes up with a gasp. He’s drenched in cold sweat, his chest heaves as he tries to calm himself down.

When reality begins to shift into focus, he curls himself into a fetal position until he can no longer control his sobs.
Right. Kacchan is…

“Kacchan is gone, Stupid.” He whispers to himself.
