There’s a theme when something ‘happens’ in fandoms that a lot of people just vaguetweet, or act like they can’t use their name. That results in a lot of us having no idea what’s going on, or how serious it is. If it’s confirmed, and others should know, TELL THEM

Half the vaguetweets are like ‘ohhh if you follow any pedophiles/groomers/dog fuckers by 5pm tomorrow I’m going to softblock you ’ and I have to go dig through some triggering mentions to find out who the heck has been outed this time

Why give them the anonymity just TELL me

Anyway this is bc of the DontHugCacti / Lucky Coyote stuff coming out, which I only haven’t RTd yet because I haven’t read the beware in full yet and never followed them

But in general I’m fed up of it being hard to find the catalyst and only seeing 50 subtweets
