Nothing very deep but I found my foundation match today and almost cried. I'm not dark skinned or anything. Just a normal Indian skin tone, I guess. But I've never really figured make-up out because of the combination of a few factors.

My mom's not into it so I never watched and learned, she always told me that I shouldn't concentrate on my physical aspects over my brains or personality (something I'm vv thankful for today), I've had pretty good skin, so nothing ever needed covering up,

I was too socially awkward to ask the salespeople actual questions out of the fear of sounding dumb, so I'd buy whatever would be the first shade they'd thrust at me and walk out. But today I sat in the shop for 30 mins till I found the best choice for me and walked out happy.

Is there a point to this thread? Absolutely not. Just that I'm happy.
