Top Tier Romance

I got into this series expecting a reverse harem with bishonen anime men. But I couldn't be more wrong.

It's one of the most beautiful and healthy romance I've seen in a weeb fiction work. It's done so naturally and the relationship is really inspiring.

Berserk esque character Dynamics with the main antagonist

There are a few parallels I can find between yona and berserk and this is it's biggest one. The character dynamic is not only berserk esque but its executed better than Berserk imo.

Eastern Fantasy Elements

I always find it refreshing when fantasy series takes its inspiration from Eastern elements. Chinese & indian style music and based on ancient Korea's Shilla kingdom, the costumes, the nomenclature, and dragons all feel refreshingly Eastern.

The entire cast is super likeable, wholesome. The dynamics between all the various characters are all super interesting and different from one another. And some of these characters and unexpectedly tragic and complicated.

Akatsuki Yona is a series with a lot of things going for it. Amazing cast of characters, fantastic character dynamics and central conflict, amazing pay offs and a beautiful romance, its great series I hope some of yall will check out.
