Amy Coney Barrett signed a 2015 statement to Catholic bishops endorsing the church’s conservative views on abortion, sexuality, and marriage. https://twitter.com/cnnbrk/status/1309585309185847299
In the statement, she said “the complementarity of men and women” and “marriage and family founded on the indissoluble commitment of a man and a women”, strongly suggesting she opposes marriage equality and LGBTQ rights.
In a 2017 report from the AFJ on her, it is stated that "As a judge, Barrett could be expected to put her personal beliefs ahead of the law. She wrote specifically about the duty of judges to put their faith above the law in an article entitled “Catholic Judges in Capital Cases.”
She’s also likely to vote to undercut the Affordable Care Act, potentially stripping health care from millions of Americans.
don't typically tweet about politics but if this woman is appointed as the new Supreme Court Justice, there will be major problems for all americans, regardless of their political views #AmyConeyBarrett
