Earlier this month my parents tested positive for COVID-19, later I tested positive too while taking care of them.

3 weeks later we are all tested negative and completely recovered. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙏🏼" title="Folded hands (mittelheller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Folded hands (mittelheller Hautton)">

Here are some tips based on our experiences.
Early detection = Early Medication = Better Recovery Rate.

We got tested the same day we got symptoms and immediately started medication that included vitamins and anti virals.
Most cases that need hospitalization are the ones that test late and start the medication late.

No its not your regular soar throat, no its not random fever coz you got wet in rain.

Testing is the only way to confirm its not.

Get tested if you see symptoms.
Diet is a key part of recovery.

While fighting the virus and post recovery too.

Most people have fatigue for weeks and sometimes for months.

This can be avoided by having a high protein and high vitamin diet.

We had 3 eggs a day and meat in almost all the meals.
Get a D dimer test to make sure that the blood vitals are normal. Based on the doctors inputs get CT scan done to ensure that the lungs are affected.
Make sure to have a pulse oximeter at home and check the SPO2 level and if they drop below 95, seek immediate medical attention.

Walk around a bit, even if thats confined to you home.

Follow the routine of decongestion using steam and breathing exercises.
Do not panic !

Its okay if you contacted it even after taking all the precautions.

Do not spend all your energies on trying to figure out where you contacted it from.

At this level of community spread, its meaningless to do that analysis.
Stop panicking about all the surfaces you touch, most transmissions are from person to person.

Remember its that once time you took of the mask to drink coffee with friends or may be to enjoy food. Its mostly those !
Act fast if you see any symptoms.

Test immediately and start medication.

This is key to recovery. My dad is 61 and diabetic. He recovered faster than me !

This is not something our amazing doctors and modern medicine can’t fight.

We are in this together. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙏🏼" title="Folded hands (mittelheller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Folded hands (mittelheller Hautton)">
