Here's something worth knowing: I have a parent who works as a "worker productivity analyst." He monitors worker productivity in his company down to the second to help forecast staffing and workload requirements.
Over the last six months, he has identified that it takes his employees 25% more time to complete the same tasks they were completing before they went fully remote.

And those are adults working in paid positions in a company where all work is completed on computers.
Why do I share this?
Because it means that our students are also going to take longer to get things done working remotely, too.

And chances are that it is going to be MORE than a 25% increase in time to complete the same tasks that you have always assigned.
What's the solution?
You either need to give LESS work or you need to give students MORE time to complete that work.

Period. End of discussion.
