ok just gonna say this once & then i’m done w it forever: if you’re upset with millie for posting the video of cops being nice & think she had malicious intent, then u don’t know the type of person she is at all. it wasn’t the right thing to do, but she’s not a bad person.
she’s all about kindness like i don’t think that girl has a bad bone in her body, i myself was angry when she posted that; it showed ignorance & was horribly tone deaf & the fact that she deleted it but then didn’t apologize for the mistake was upsetting.
but tbh millie’s proven that she’s been at least trying to educate herself thru following accounts & even going as far as promoting them, so it’s really beyond me why people still hold that situation over her head & wanna paint her as a villain.
again this is just my take on the situation and why i think that while an apology at this point in time is unlikely, some of y’all are treating her as if she’s an actual racist or cop lover when we all know that’s an enormous reach. i’m not trying to speak over anyone.
the whole matter of the subject i think goes a lot deeper than i have space to explain, you can’t prove someone is a bad person based on a single lapse in judgement posted on an IG story that was deleted, when there’s literally actual racists out there.
age isn’t an excuse but so many of us have now been taught that being “woke” or educated on such things at a young age is normal, esp if you have twitter where literally millions of people always say that it taught them more than school ever has.
16 is still very much an impressionable age where one could see something in a very stressful time in history &think its ok. yall can think im making excuses for a 16 year old but the truth is having a god complex & cancelling someone for a mistake isn’t the flex u think it is
