I’m sending 4 emails this morning to scold people for not turning up for bookings made yesterday. That’s 10 people over the course of yesterday evening, when we have a capacity of 30, that’s ONE THIRD. We turned people away because people had booked tables.

Hi thanks yes we will take deposits going forward, we didn’t take deposits yesterday hence my email and ensuing rage at no shows. Should we have taken deposits? Maybe! Will every venue survive the pandemic? Absolutely not! Be kind, tip your bar staff and don’t be a dick!
