We're getting Fox UK. Spiked is writing the curiculum. Legal checks on Government are being ignored. There are no "norms". Expect big moves to suppress votes and gerrymander seats. Also more flag waving. The death penalty.

The whole infrastructure that works so well in the US (where the GOP is about a month from a probably attempt to end what democracy there is) is being imported here. And I feel we don't even have the power bases to oppose it that exist in the States.

Hungary is another model. And it feels like people are flailing about trying to win arguments about this - it doesn't matter; they don' care; they have power and are exercising it in order to entrench it in perpetuity.

And the Labour Party will politely smile, as it seeks to please the "culturally conservative" voters it now wants to appeal to. Meanwhile, thousands - including many veterans - can be mobilised for anti-refugee/nationalist demos, and there's no sign of a broad coalition opposing.

The NHS isn't really the NHS anymore; it's just a "brand" you put on something to inocculate it from criticism. They're passing laws that allow ministers to do anything. Massive energy is being thrown into divide and rule crap. The unions are weak.

The gig economy, zero hours contracts, platform capitalism, and globalised production make organising worker solidarity all but impossible.

Millions of people are being radicalised by Facebook and YouTube into Soros/AntiFa/BLM/China/Plandemic conspiracy crap. They think we're being invaded, that there's sharia law in Birmingham, that London has "fallen", and anyone on the left hates white people.

It doesn't matter that they're misinformed. It doesn't matter if you can show that they are, or "win" an argument with them. There are nice old retired people on here, who love animals, and have a bungalow by the sea, oh, and who run a 10-hours-a-day race hate account as a hobby.
