The period leading up to the ge 97 was relatively stable. The period now is an economic, environmental and political crisis.

The public are listening, and Labour has a chance to shape the debate. They need to make the argument for wealth redistribution to help working people.

The point in this thread is the idea that you don’t announce policies until late in an election cycle is a strategy that worked well for Blair in the run up to GE97 but that was during a boom, now is different circumstances.
