I’m going to vote. I’m convinced the 4 years that just happened are small compared to what would happen in another 4. But. It won’t fix anything. It would introduce a level of stasis along with a refusal to defund cops or protect vulnerable populations.

Do protests help? Maybe?? Nonviolence works if your opponent has a conscience. Cops have demonstrated that they don’t. The right has demonstrated the same. What happens now that the violence of generations against Black folks is in broad daylight and “centrists,” moderates,

& many leftists do not want the violent structures to change, just sweep them away out of sight again?

The net of destruction has grown wider and covers many more people than it used to.
