The Breonna Taylor search warrants
The warrants were issued for
1 Breonna's house
2 a red Dodge charger
3 a white Chevy Impala registered on Breonna's name
4 Adrain Walker, Jamarcus Glover and Breonna Taylor.
The request was for a no-knock warrant and the goal was goal was to seize drugs, money, weapons or anything that was used in the drug operation/ any evidence.
On the Affidavit the police explains why they needed the warrants. Here a few parts I thought were worth noting:
- Surveillance showed that when traffic slowed down around the trap house, Glover and/or Walker would show up on the red Dodge Charger and "re-up" (re-supply) it.
Note that there are 3 vehicles implicated on this case,
a red Dodge Charger that Glover drives and the two vehicles, a white Chevy Impala and a black Dodge Charger, registered on Breonna's name.
- On Jan 2nd, Breonna's white Chevy Impala was seen pull up in front of the trap house. Glover exited the passenger side.
- The red Dodge charger was observed making several trips from the trap house to Breonna's house
- On Jan 16th, 2020, Glover was observed collecting a package from Breonna's house and head straight to a trap house afterwards
- On Feb 13th Breonna went with Glover to the trap house, Glover went inside but Breonna stayed on the car getting out only for a few seconds to look around before going back inside
- Breonna's black Dodge charger was seen pull up in front of the trap house multiple time at varying hours of the day and night
The warrants to 2424 (trap house), 2425, 2426 Elliot Ave and to Breonna's house were executed simultaneously.
Police recovered large amounts of cocaine, fentanyl, money and 4 firearms from the Elliot Av search. The warrant on Breonna's house tragically resulted in her death.
