You fight the process first. If that fails, then you fight the nominee.
They shouldn& #39;t be advancing a nomination in the first place. But they do have the power to do that. We fight them on that front. And, if & when that fails, then we tie each and every one of them to that nominee& #39;s views.
I don& #39;t think that seat is lost. But I do think they have the power to grab it. Get them first on the process issues. Then tie each senator--especially the vulnerable ones--to the record. They might get the seat, but we can get our metaphorical pound of flesh from it.
Again, I don& #39;t think anyone should think that seat is lost. I think there are GOP votes to get against it.
