It's a real shock to the system going from a laissez faire attitude with one sim, to trying to mircomanage 6 sims. The Cadet House is always busy.

I had forgotten that I had switched careers for both Stuart and Leia. Leia is no longer a Food Critic, she's a Journalist. Because I haven't maxed that career yet and I really want that reward antique typwriter even though I don't know where I'm going to put it.

Stuart is no longer a CEO he's an astronaut. Because I haven't maxed the Interstellar Smuggler career yet and its the second highest paid career after Style Influencer if you don't have Strangerville (Military).

This means that for a good chunk of the day (since Leia can no longer work from home) everyone is out of the house. It's nice in that it gives me time to breathe while juggling so many sims. But also a little strange because I'm not used to waiting.

The work from home option definitely helped with keeping Leia progressing through her career while the nannies watched the kids during the day. She was still able to parent the kids and herself at night. I will miss it.

One day while the kids were at school and the Leia had gone off to work, the elderly former nanny showed up. Because I'm messy, I invited her in and then sat back to watch the show.

They talked, they hugged, and then they woohoed in the shower. Dude literally waited until everyone was out of the house to cheat on his wife. I don't know that I was surprised as much as appalled. Leia doesn't deserve this.

A few days later, after Stuart had aged up into an elder, the elderly nanny called and asked him out on a date. Girl, you are really out here trying to break up this man's family.

At least i don't have to worry about her having any children out of wedlock.

This week I focused on making sure the kids do their homework and improving their character value traits. They will all get Responsible because they do homework. But I'd like for them to each have one additional trait. It doesn't really matter which.

Loras, who I'd already ruled out as a potential Scion aged up first. He aged up with Ramen noodle hair. Which is somehow fitting. I started him studying vampire lore. I think I'm going to turn him into a vampire and move him to Forgotten Hollow.

I've never played a vampire and this is the perfect excuse. I can play him at will because ageing does not matter for vampires. I like the idea, although furnishing another house doesn't thrill me, it will allow me to use all the gothic/glamour life stuff that I never get to use.

Rey aged up next. She turned out really cute. So cute in fact, I'm upset that I can't play ALL of the triplets. I'm still going to have her learn Robotics though. Maybe I'll have her move to Evergreen Harbor and have her build robots and fabricate things.

Margaery was the last triplet to age up. She ended up with the same hair as her great father Cameron had. I thought it was cute so I kept it. In fact all the triplets kept the hair they aged up with. I've decided that she will be the Scion to continue the legacy.

Of the kids that leaves Kylo, who is the firstborn. I do still plan on sending him to school for villainy. But I'm not sure what, if anything I want to do with him after that.

I did download and renovate a Lars Farm-esque house for him to live in. It's a completely different style from what I usually do. I don't have Strangerville so I had to place it in Oasis Springs. So it's not exactly in a desert but it IS in a more arid climate.

I only took the one picture. And I made more changes afterwards. But I made a note to take more pictures later. Because I'm really proud of how it turned out. Lastly, Stuart aged up. As much as I complain about a lightskin doing lightskin things, even I have to admit he's a silver fox.

This is Leia. She is still a few days away from becoming an elder so she didn't age up. But everyone else got their headshot in this thread so hers is here too.

I don't know why I'm surprised that the kids are so hot given their parents. But yeah these are the current members of House Tyrell, which itself is a cadet branch of House Edwards. They live in Highgarden Manor because reasons. That reminds me, I need to plant roses.

I will eventually finish entering in all the information for the family tree. It's should be fairly soon now that I have pictures of all the living sims. The tricky part is finding suitable pictures of people who have passed on. But I will get to it.

I keep getting distracted by other projects. I still want to build Loras a house. I may even combine it with the funeral home I was thinking about a while back. That will absolutely satisfy a special part of the spooky basic bitch in me.
