When you have an asexual or/and aromantic character, it’s so important you research, you do not backtrack, you do not make it so that the character must be fixed or seen as a challenge.
It’s important to show what ace and aro people deal with too, but to also show that ace and aro people are people. We need to see characters across the ace spectrum too and we need characters who are aro and across the aro spectrum too.
We need to see ace and aro characters who do not fit into the stereotype of what people think ace and aro people look like, of how ace and aro people are and there is a stereotype which is harmful in itself.
Representation is so important and it reaches everywhere. Don't sideline ace and aro characters, don't think that one scene is enough.

Erasure is so harmful too. Don't think for one minute that erasing an ace and/or aro character isn't harmful, that it doesn't have an impact.
