2/ The chats show Swinney instructing the other members-- including Proud Boys, American Guard, and militias-- to make any assaults look like self-defense.
3/ The members also traded pictures of the weapons they planned to bring with them to the event, a since-cancelled string of violent rallies across the northeast.
4/ They also traded pictures of specific leftists that they planned to assault, with Swinney instructing the group to target a particular activist.
5/ Another member of the chat, Shaun Hufton, planned to assassinate me at that rally, even choosing the caliber of weapon he'd use.
6/ When @jason_a_w asked the Portland Mayor's office about using anti-militia laws against the frequent far-right incursions into the city.
