After watching today's mayoral candidate roundtable discussion with The Black Roundtable, I definitely know who I'm voting for.

Definitely won't be the former mayor and current mayor who both declined to be on the panel.

Definitely won't be the person who basically said they will wait to become mayor to reach out to the Black community after admitting how they haven't reached out at all.

Definitely won't be the person who thinks Black churches are the only way to reach out to the Black community and understand the experience of a Black person.

And it definitely won't be the person who left the panel discussion early, right before the other candidates were going to ask each other questions.

These local politicians are proving to be as untrustworthy as their own statements, having the most empty words and promises, especially towards the Black community in El Paso. Veronica Carbajal has my vote for mayor.
