This please! If you have a problem and shame tells you "you don't have a problem just try harder" then it's making you feel like shit while stopping you from being able to spot the real issue

Genuinely taking accountability and responsibility for your issues means you https://twitter.com/elisekumar/status/1309410943139364864
HAVE to be kind and compassionate enough with yourself to accept the existence of a problem. Even if you're also frustrated and confused by it

Shame and guilt are sneaky and try to wear a mask of "tough love" and "personal responsibility."
Love doesn't feel like an attack on your character or worth as a person. Refusing to acknowledge your problems and ask for help is the opposite of responsibility

You can struggle and have limitations and be kind to yourself while also being loving and responsible
