So he decided to fire up his old E*Trade account and day trade as a substitute for gambling.

Since Dave has such a huge following most things he does are guaranteed successes.

It released exclusively in Pennsylvania (each state has different gambling laws).

Although, other companies such as Fanduel and Draftkings ($DKNG) had a head start.

What is interesting is that other states in the US, for example Michigan haven't legalized this type of gambling.

Once Michigan approves it, everyone is starting from the 0 users.

It will be much closer in Michigan and states that have not legalized sports gambling yet.

They have:
1. Call her Daddy which was at one point the top podcast in America.

2. One Bite Pizza reviews.

3. Stool Scenes, and many other YouTube series’ that pull in hundreds of thousands of views per video.

Barstool also has a leg up in the sports media world due to their time in the game.

Kids who grew up watching Barstool sports are now in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL and they respect Barstool.

Some even go out of their way to interview with Barstool!

Barstool has established that they are not out to get the athletes like other news outlets are.

If an athlete is involved in a scandal they will never pile on.

They don’t skew stories they just want to make good, funny content.

Others did not want to touch Barstool because of:

- Past work history (a.k.a they thought they had already gotten everything out of Barstool that they could get)

A lot of people may not know that Barstool had an important role in scaling Fanduel and Draftkings.

There was a whole Barstool dedicated to going around the country and selling Frat boys on sports gambling.

Don’t sleep on Barstool, they have a massive leg up on the competition through their content moat, network and loyal fanbase of “stoolies”.

In the long term it won’t even be close.
