Houssem Aouar has agreed to join Arsenal. Arsenal and Lyon will now have more talks regarding the transfer fee. ( @telefoot_chaine)

Arsenal have offered Lyon €35 million for star midfielder Houssem Aouar, sources have told ESPN.

Sources add that while the French club is likely to reject this first bid, Arsenal are expected come back with an improved amount.
Initially, Lyon wanted €60m for their playmaker. But with the coronavirus pandemic changing clubs' financial situations, they have lowered their expectations with a fee of €40m or €45m likely to be enough. ( @espn)
Houssem Aouar is Arsenal's first target. Personal terms are not an issue - Arsenal would offer contract until June 2025 and Houssem like to join. But there’s still no agreement with Lyon about the €60m price. ( @FabrizioRomano)
Lazio have been negotiating with Shkodran Mustafi's agent and they desperately want to bring him to Rome.. Shkodran Mustafi wants to stay at Arsenal but will leave if their is an agreement in place. ( @laziopress)
Arteta on if Arsenal will sign more players this window: "We are still open to improve our team. We are looking for different options depending on what happens with some of our players here so we are getting prepared just in case we need to do something."
Arteta on the Jorginho links: "Sorry, but I cannot talk about players that play for a different team. [Discussing] their qualities is not appropriate from my side."
Mikel Arteta on whether Lucas Torreira will stay at Arsenal or leave: “We don’t have any updates on Lucas or any other player at the moment.”
Arteta on Nicolas Pépé: 'I think he's come a long way. We know what the club paid for him when he joined and that was obviously an extra pressure but he's a player who's had to adapt, it's a different style.'
