I think people should basically wear masks when out around other people, but if you're outside and more than six feet away from others, obviously you're not a threat to public health. Security personnel getting in your face to drag you away, by contrast, are.
Security theater is when we do something that actually increases the chance of covid transmission in order to pretend we're preventing covid transmission.
People do a lot of security theater because they don't actually know how to assess risk. How many people died while riding bicycles last year? Based on the data I've seen, probably less than a thousand. I still see toddlers wearing bicycle helmets while riding tricycles.
How many people died due to obesity last year (which can be easily prevented through getting lots of exercise)? Depends on how you count, but let's say at least 300,000. https://www.wvdhhr.org/bph/oehp/obesity/mortality.htm#:~:text=OBESITY%20AND%20MORTALITY,the%20obesity%20epidemic%20(57).
Which should you fear more, TBI due to riding a tricycle on the sidewalk path near the park, or heart disease due to a lifetime of not bothering to exercise because it was always such a pain in the ass?
Anyway, I'm going to go take a walk. Use a bit of common sense and stay healthy, folks.
