made them stronger as a couple. despite all of that the relationship survived but then arizona cheated which is in no way shape or form justifiable but it’s the way it showed how good people make mistakes and callie worked around it and they once again, thrived, BUT THEN-

11x05 showed the struggles of couples therapy and how love sometimes isn’t enough and that sometimes to get better you need to love yourself before you can love someone and it just showed how real and raw their relationship was and how much they wanted to fix it and to make it-

work for sofia and for them. even though callie walked out, she did it for herself, she didn’t stay in a place where she would’ve felt suffocated, ONCE AGAIN showing how the reality of trauma doesn’t only affect you personally but also affects relationships and feelings-

and the custody battle was a whole new side to their relationship and it showed how much they’ve grown apart as people yet it still brought them closer together because arizona saw how miserable callie was without sofia and decided to give up custody so that callie wouldn’t-

suffer and feel alone. after all of their years together, through everything they went through, they managed to find their way back to eachother even when callie was across the country. i will take no calzona slander/criticism. when we get the spin off then u will see. gn <3
