Hi there. I am on the ground at Historic Vanoirt. There are some facts you need to know about this location

From left to right:

A river with a steep bank
A fence topped with barbed wire
A gate that allows two people to pass through at once
Another fence topped with barbed wire overgrown with vines

There is no parking here. There are fields farther down with gates so no one can park there. The only parking is maybe .25 miles down the road, so people will have to walk in

Here is a picture of the gate that will be the only way out of this kettle should the proud boys, say, pull up with a couple of trucks and block the road and set up interlocking fields of fire

Hollywood has taught us that good guys always win with enough gumption and the power of friendship and the right ideas

Real life does not work that way

There have been massacres in this country before and they have not changed a goddamn thing about the injustices of our system

It's possible that this event is taking place at the Vanport Historical Marker rather than Historic Vanport. The fact that it's hard to tell is itself troubling.

I am at the Vanport Historical Marker which has the advantage of not being a deathtrap, but not much else

Here's a video of this area. There's parking. Not a lot of ways out. Not a lot of places to go

This location is a 9 minute walk to Delta Park, if one was inclined to walk over to a larger group of armed far-right extremists who have made no secret of their desire to murder Black Lives Matter activists

One advantage of this area is it's hard to drive to. The Proud Boys will have a car caravan, and they'll have to single file in if they decide to go here

Again though, the event flier say "Historic Vanport," which is the kettle-dream I described above
