THREAD: Why women struggle with the hijab?đŸ§”đŸ§•
Personally, this is the most challenging topic I’m EVER going to talk about. FIRSTLY, the hijab is fardh. We haven’t really studied the importance of it and been explained other than to ‘wear it’.
Secondly, women find it hard because they don’t feel beautiful as they are influenced by social media to look a certain way or don’t feel fulfilled by their beauty. This is the shaytan trying to distance us from modesty.
Thirdly, the Quran mentions that both men and women are commanded to lower their gaze and "guard their modesty” and “draw their veils”. People say that the Quran doesn’t reference it, well here it is.
Fourthly, hair is a form of beauty. I know I’m going to get hate for this, but beauty must be covered and only your family and husband should have access to it.
Fifth, in the time of the prophet. Women wore a kumaar (veil) to cover themselves.
Sixth: question for you! Would you go do tawaf in the kabah without the scarf? Now understand that’s how important the hijab is.
Just want to say I personally struggled soooo much. It isn’t an easy topic to talk about but I feel guided now even sometimes I’m so unsure. I’m learning and I hope Allah can keep me that wayđŸ€žđŸŒđŸ™đŸŒI Hope more girls and women are able to wear it without any restriction. IN’SHA’ALLAH
