I don’t want to focus on the three people in this story, but rather the general thrust of Russian propaganda that isn’t related to the US election. They really want to defend Assad and Russia in Syria, and blame the CIA for everything Russian.

If you ask someone what they think about Vladimir Putin and what they think about Bashar al-Assad, and they give some sort of weirdly defensive answer, I think you’ve found someone who has been Rus-pilled, or maybe is even an actual Russian troll. That’s my hypothesis.
