Last thing I would ever need is someone White, ESPECIALLY in the Smash scene, to try and lecture me about racism. We& #39;re the ones with the targets on our backs, and it starts early. I& #39;ve been told by a random White dude, when I was 16, that they thought I was "scum of the Earth."
He heard me speak, apologized, and wished me well. No way he could think that, having not seen me before, other than my being Black. I& #39;ve been stopped by police for having on an all Black long sleeve in the sun, saying it& #39;s sus. Again, once they heard me speak, nothing.
Don& #39;t know HOW many times my brother has been stopped for DWB (Driving While Black, for those of you that just don& #39;t get that this shit is real). Me waiting on the bus, and some White lady calling the police on me, reporting a fucking house robbery (still high school).
Police ran my ID, surprised that a Black high school student had no police record or experience doing drugs of any kind. Asked why I was standing there in the dark, behind the houses, and I pointed at the bus stop clearly behind me. "Ohhhh. We& #39;re sorry. Have a good night."
People& #39;s lower thoughts of you, based on your darker skin color, at the very least, is agitating and spirit breaking. At its peak, people are dying behind "you& #39;re not White."
If y& #39;all can& #39;t understand what this shit is about by now and HOW long it& #39;s been going on for, you don& #39;t need to be teaching shit. It is as cut and dry as "You& #39;re Black, so you need to be removed one way or another."

Officers are people. People=Lives. Blue = Uniform Color. Uniform Color =/= People, thus "Blue lives" don& #39;t exist. Shut that shit up.

All lives CANNOT matter when Black lives do not ACTIVELY matter to all lives. When someone says "Black Lives Matter" in the form of protest, saying "All Lives Matter" counters that protest. Help the cause, so the end result CAN be that all lives will matter.
