It is so weird to me that people claim to be redpilled because of the overt wokism displayed by those on the left, when it is clear that most Democrats are far more centrist than most Republicans. I mean, you don't agree with political correctness? Ok. That is no excuse for

supporting a soulless ghoul like trump and his slimy, spineless enablers.

All the same, leftists do have a propensity to demonize and shut down certain ideas which they do not agree with/find inconvenient. This is one of the main reasons why some people cannot stomach the left, even though their policy proposals are better than those pushed by Repubs.

For example: the critical race theory. Look, I align with progressives on these issues for most part, but that doesn't mean everyone who doesn't is a racist. It takes time for society to open up to new ideas, you simply cannot fking cancel

everyone who impulsively rejects these novel ideas. That's not how it works. Also, your ideas are not infallible, so stop demonizing everyone who disagrees with you on your radical ideas. Fundamental mutual respect is necessary for living in a society, yes- you cannot

go around being a racist, a misogynist and a homophobe- but the finer details can be worked out without "cancellation".

We must learn to forgive microaggressions- I know it's hard, I've been at the receiving end of many- but as unpleasant as it is, there is a sea of difference between a microaggression and overt expressions of misogyny, racism, homophobia.
