black cis het men experience gendered violence but this is a conversation they are not ready to have because they put a much bigger emphasis on the baseless fear of emasculation
in contrasting and compulsively comparing their experience to their white men counterparts with whom they want to believe they can compete with, they conveniently chose to uphold the moral standards of their oppressors...by compensating, how? A virulent usage of force
Patriarchy as a a
socialized architectural design, concentrates power in the hands of people gendered as “male”: meaning they monopolize the power to use force...Black men having experienced ungendering through the dehumanizing force of slavery are basically trying to
to recuperate a sense of power by synchronizing their masculine culture with those of non-Black men, in short, they are essentially moving towards where the power centers are concentrated.
They are moving towards the white supremacist cis hetero patriarchal capitalist hegemony in order to access power by proximity & reproduction
which inevitably results in oppression, exploitation and the proliferation of cultures of brutality against other gendered minorities ( tw: rape, domestic violence, femicide..)
