one of my FAVOURITE stelena moments, the way stefan was sonshy/vulnerable about his vampirism around elena her response was so accepting please it was beautiful, she was literally in awe, it was new territory for both of them and it was such an amazing journey:(

stefan knew how much it meant to her for him to dance so he literally goes and sweeps her off her feet, look how happy she looks, the way she smiled around stefan hit different and he ALWAYS strived to make her happy, she’s literally smiling from ear to ear

please this is such a mundane act yet so special like this is one of the reasons i love stelena, despite their crazy and complicated life they still made time for normal/simple acts of a relationship and i love that, as stefan said, she made him feel human and that is beautiful

mr romantic stefan salvatore, another perfect example of how special they were, he still made time to show her how to enjoy her life eventhough they were always wrapped up in some kind of trouble, the aesthetics of their scenes too was just a blessing to watch

the way she pranked him and said that he couldn’t be invited in the house and stefan growling his typical growl afterwards, i loved how goofy they were and i will never forget the noise elena makes when he picks her up she was just so HAPPY, they were so healthy, a big flex

5 more minutes?!?!?!? *growls in stefan*, it’s moments like these that really make me miss stelena because look how functional they were even in these simple moments, MY SOULMATES and the way they launch onto the bed sends me lmao

“why cheat now?”(about vamp speed) he really wanted her to cherish her last moments that they thought she would be human, eventhough it probably killed him inside he really helped her embrace it and told her to talk about not wanting to be a vampire just so she felt better...king

when she tells him to close his eyes as klaus takes her away ithis moment made me tear up please they were so protective over eachothers feelings, a true relationship...

ONLY stefan with his dimmer switch of a humanity would still catch her with his humanity off AND resist compulsion, he will “always protect elena”, when he caught her and they looked at eachother it was pure fireworks, literally a fairytale
