Talking with the older ladies at my church, they tell me one of the biggest challenges in discipling young women is that many of them were raised to be good feminists and literally don’t know what it means to be a SAH wife/mom. https://twitter.com/MllcKenzie/status/1308962278180610049
One older lady literally constructed a boot camp to teach the younger ones how to cook, clean, keep a house. Her biggest challenge wasn’t teaching them how to do those things but why they needed to do those things. Think about that.
BTW, for context, these were you g women who WANTED to be SAH wives/moms. They got saved and realized they wanted to raise a family not climb a corporate ladder.
My wife was exactly this kind of young when we met. Raised to be a career woman, but God changed her heart to desire a husband (poor girl) and kids.
And before you pile on: No. I do not think a woman can’t or shouldn’t work. I can make the argument that the Bible says a woman is designed for the home, but I can’t make the argument that she MUST be there.

My Christian mom worked and I’m darn proud of her.
