I want to point out the stupidity of the GOP/Kushner plan for 2020 by ignoring the working-class white vote and hoping to make marginal gains with non-whites.
Let's start with some baseline facts, according to exit polls in 2016:

Trump won college educated whites by 3 points, non-college educated whites by 37 points.

Clinton won Asians and Hispanics by 38 points and black voters by 81 points
Let's say in 2020,

Trump's support among college-educated (CE) whites has decreased significantly according to every poll and to a lesser degree among non-college educated (NCE) whites.

Let's say Biden wins CE whites by 5 points and Trump wins NCE by 33 pts.

Here's that map:
Now let's say Trump has picked up significantly with non-whites... which many polls say he has.

Let's say,

Biden wins blacks by 78 points, Hispanics 25 points, and Asians by 30 points. Here's that map w/ the white vote accounted for:
Yep... that giant bump with Hispanics and Asians and significant gain with black voters... still loses him the election
Now let's say he were to lose CE whites by 9 pts, Hispanics and Asians by 35, blacks by 80 pts... but were to win NCE whites by 35 pts and increase voter turnout to the same number black Americans turned out for Obama in 2012 (67%).
Now hopefully he doesn't lose all the groups by that margin... and I fully expect a bounce with non-white voters.

BUT!!! It's not enough to save him and never was. This is a base election that he needed to drive non-college educated white voters to the polls.
